"We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Meridiana. Was perfect for everything we needed - great location just outside the old town, so easy to walk in every night. Perfect location for the funicular, and also very easy access to the shore for a swim! We hired a car and a parking space was available which was also fantastic. Staff were lovely, and the breakfast buffet and breakfast terrace were great!!"
"This is a very well appointed hotel right on the edge of Lake Garda, set in the heart of Torbole. It is a great base to explore the area from, there is a bus stop almost outside the hotel and the ferry stops a couple of minutes walk down the road. It is very comfortable, the staff are lovely and it has excellent facilities. Breakfast over looking the lake is a real treat. I would recommend eating there for an evening meal at least once. "The hotel is all about the location and the surroundings. If that’s what you’re in the area for (sightseeing, short stop off etc) then the hotel is fine and does exactly what it needs to. As a hotel in isolation, it’s a little tired, a touch antiquated (some might say Italy of old and like this feature) and underwhelming considering the absurdity of the beauty it looks out on to.
