"The promo for this hotel on Expedia was very misleading. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said...

"This was exactly what we were looking for with a family of 4. Excellent daily breakfast, walkable to public transportation, beautiful scenery, right on the water, tons of areas to relax outside and the coffee/ espresso machines were a welcomed surprise!!!!Johanna at the front desk was the best. "This hotel is located in a perfect location, so close to the tunnelbana, bus stops and ferries. I enjoyed being so close to Gamla Stan and being able to stop back at my hotel room in between activities. The room was impeccably clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was also glad to have access to the luggage room as I arrived much earlier than check in time. The staff were very friendly and I was offered extra towels whenever I would see a staff member in the hallway. The room is very basic but it was very clean and provided the perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again. "
