Hotel J is in a beautiful quiet setting on Nacka Strand, with lovely views out over the water and close to the regular boat service. My stay was very peaceful and relaxing. I loved the breathwork session at the hotel on Saturday morning and i also had an amazing massage. I highly recommend a stay here.

Overall it is a very nice hotel secluded off the typical beaten path. Dining options are somewhat limited in the area but several within walking distance. One notable item is if you do stay in the Suite W\ sea view your view from the balcony is beautiful but you will be sharing it with others. There is a small screen between the units for half the distance but you will still here every word and movement by your neighbors.

Beautiful location close to the city and close to nature! One caveat: Due to strong wind balcony doors, which were not fastened, were banging around the whole night. The whole building was shaking and several guests could not sleep. An easy technical fix could help here when people forget to close their balcony doors during strong wind.

Nice but probably not again

I recently stayed at Hotel J, and unfortunately, my experience was not up to par. Upon arrival, I found that the room was not in the best condition. There were noticeable issues such as missing pictures on the walls, a faulty air cooler, and a messy balcony. To their credit, the staff addressed these problems fairly quickly, which I appreciated. However, the issues didn’t end there. One morning, the cleaners entered our room and left the door to the patio open. This was particularly concerning because the floor we were on allows access to our room from five other rooms by simply hopping over a low wall. This lack of security made us feel uneasy throughout our stay. We also dined at Restaurant J and had a pretty awful time. The teenage staff were rude, unhelpful, and dismissive of us. It was only when a Swedish speaker joined our group that they showed any interest in being slightly warmer. This behavior was disappointing and added to the overall dissatisfaction with our stay. While the staff did make an effort to resolve some of the problems, the overall experience left much to be desired. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously to improve the quality and safety of their accommodations.

Ausgezeichnete Lage. Kurzer Fußweg zur Fähre (ca. 3 Minuten). Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück entspricht dem Standard eines Hotel dieser Kategorie. Zimmer schön und gemütlich im skandinavischen Stil eingerichtet und mit angenehmer Größe. Tiefgaragenstellplatz 25€ pro Tag. Subwrkeit sehr gut. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Högsta betyg för servicen, den var mycket bra! Rummet fint och utsikten trevlig trots att byggnation pågick precis nedanför balkongen. Inte något som störde nämnvärt under dessa dagars vistelse men vattnet i handfatet i badrummet rann väldigt långsamt, det borde checkas och rensas före check in kan jag tycka, men inget jag skulle ge nedslag på. Vidare, som ett förbätttringsförslag, lägg till några tepåsar till kaffehörnan påm rummet, det funkar ju bra med den befintliga kaffemaskinen eftersom den redan har en funktion för att enbart välja varmt vatten så ingen större investering krävs med tanke på m,ervärdet för gäster som inte dricker kaffe, samt för kaffedrickare som emellanåt vill ta sig en kopp te. Ett par extra kuddar i garderoben till de/oss som behöver fler för att sova bäst samt en eller ett par filtar att kunna svepa sig med vid behov när man vill sitta kvällstid på balkongen och njuta av utsikten, eller om man känner sig frusen på rummen, även detta inget måste och inget jag ger sämre betyg för gällande helhetsupplevelsen. En liten minibar hade varit toppen men inget måste behovsmässigt. Frukost buffen var väldigt bra, över förväntan faktiskt. Det enda jag kan komma på som lite "negativt" var prisbilden, det borde ha varit en större prissänkning av det ordinarie priset pga byggnationen. Det var bökigt att ens ta sig ut ur byggnaden när det var dags för utcheckning som exempel. Men helhetsmässigt så är det ett mycket fint hotell med god mat och kanonbra service!

En pärla vid saltsjön

En härlig "båtbuss" tur från Stockholms centrum. Fantastiskt utsikt över inloppet till Stockholm med båter och färjor som kommer och går. Maritim temat passar. Fin frukost i fin sal. Bra tillhörande restaurang.
