The pool is a community pool, but the hotel has a section of reserved chairs for hotel guests.
eBikes were included in the reservation so we biked for ~30 minutes to go down by the river and make it easier to get back up to the hotel.

"This is a lovely hotel with the best breakfast in Portugal! Literally! Their restaurant Ponte Velha is also superb and very reasonably priced, the change the menu regularly monthly if not weekly which is a great. In my top 10 hotels in Portugal!"
"It was a cute little apartment. Type unit was a huge balcony overlooking the river, which was beautiful. Had a very well kept kitchenette, a little living room area, bedroom, and bathroom. It was well decorated and a very pleasant surprise.

"The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the Castelo de Vide. The building is dated but everything is very clean and tidy. The room we stayed in was very basic. Few electrical outlets, no cupboards or drawers for our clothes and poor lighting, but the heating worked and the shower was wonderful. The breakfast served was outstanding. This hotel is good value for the money."
