"Good stay for the price. There is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up some stairs if you're not staying on the first floor. Our beds were some of the coziest I've slept in and the room and bathroom were very clean. Had a good experience overall as a one night stop off."

"Room was nice and big . Comfortable beds. But it hadn't been cleaned at all. Dirt and grime in the edges of the walls especially in the restroom. Floor hadn't been swept. They scheduled once a week cleaning but all he did was wipe the one counter table and take out trash no vacuum or cleaning of anything else. Took our towels but never gave us more. Sheets had crumbs and hair in them like they had not been changed. Good price and good area. People nice but the cleanlines can be much better."

"Keep in mind this is an "extended stay" type of property. There are no niceties in the room including coffee and/or soaps, etc. Also, in IL weed is legal so there is an aroma of the smell all around the place (not sure if coming from rooms or just people smoking a J outside). I would not stay there again."

"Room was clean and had some recent updates. Breakfast had good selection, was hot, the woman in charge of dining area kept everything real clean and well supplied. Could actually open up a window for some fresh air! No complaint, would return if in area."

They found us a first floor room that worked. Initially it looked fine - no issues, clean, quiet, etc. First night was fine other than daughter went out for a smoke before bed and noticed some lady creeping around the corner watching her. "The room did not feel clean."

"The room was clean and the staff was super friendly. There were more items to choose from for breakfast than any other hotel I have stayed at! The building itself was dated but for the money it was worth it."

"It was what I look for in a place to stay. Staff was great room was very clean and the continental was really good. It was everything I look for in a hotel. My husband and I just retired after 30 years. We worked at a State Resort Park in Ky. So we really look at how maintained and the cleanliness of the facilities. Continental breakfast was replenished. It just was a really good experience."

"Everything was excellent! The only issue was that we had to wait in line to use the microwave to heat our meals. If guests are expected to stay for an extended period, it would be much more convenient to have a microwave in each room, or at least easier access to one. Overall, we had a great experience, but adding microwaves to the rooms would make future stays even better."
