"When we arrived we were shocked that there was no air conditioning in the entire hotel. We got to our room and it was 88 degrees. They said their AC had just gone out which we found hard to believe. Continuing on, they told us to just open our window, we tried and it would not open. They sent someone up who using a long screwdriver was able to get it open but it would not stay open. So they propped it open 5” using the Kleenex container. We washed for a fan and they brought us a 9” fan with a 6’ cord BUT the closest outlet was 10’ away. Another call and they said they would call an electrician. I then asked how about a plug strip, they had one and sent it up. Okay so our room is beginning to cool down. However, with the window open the traffic was obnoxiously loud and we were right above a bus line. I can go on and on, but hopefully this is enough to give you an idea on why you will want to pass on this property. This property should not be an option in Expedia. Jim Washington "

"Nice Hotel. Old world charm. Had an issue with our first room, shifted us straight away. Great location. Sitting on top of a Light Rail station so easy connection to the Airport."

"Was not informed hot tub was unavailable during check-in. Was not informed of multiple tree removal and 4 full days of maintenance around pool area during check-in. No rest and relaxation during warm and sunny days in Seattle. Let that aid in your imagination. 24-hour notice of a necessary 3D scan of room, requiring two (male) third party visitors to room escorted by front desk staff. Beware of Presence of aggressive smoke sensors located near patio doors. Doors open out, not slide, creating a vacuum. Years as a platinum hotel traveler, first ever smoke fee applied to room. If Another conference scheduled here, will look for off site accommodations."

"Very unsafe neighborhood and the hotel staff was extremely unhelpful on where a safe place to park my oversized truck. Crazy homeless person chased my truck through the parking area they suggested. "

"Hotel is in a great location for seeing all the major activities in downtown Seattle. Can take the light rail from the airport to about 3 blocks from the hotel. And use Lime scooters to get around everywhere. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast is/was too expensive so I would suggest plan accordingly. I would happily stay here again in the future. "

"The airport shuttle was easy to connect, although the airport signage was a little confusing. The room was clean and updated. Breakfast was well stocked and had many different options. Excellent staff!"
