A great find

A great find for our journeys between the south of France and the U.K. it’s not too far from the autoroute and it’s just on the edge of Gevrey-Chambertin with a good choice of restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. Proper bath towels were appreciated instead of the small thin towels you often find in French hotels. Will definitely stay here again.

The property is licated in the picturesque area with beutiful views and a walking distance from the village center. Its in line with other similar hotels with a few notable nuisances that made us feel a bit undeserved: 1. The rooms have no fridges nor hotel itself has no icemakers available to guests. Whilebtheyboffered to store our food somewhere in the shared kitchen fridge this is pretty uncomfortable option in mid-July where you cannot get a glass of chilled water. 2. While hitel sits on the nice property there is no outside area to sit and enjoy te views besides patio sitting area. However they dont allow outside food or wine on that patio or force you to pay a fee which we find ridiculous 3. Hotel pictures feature a nice pool while in reality the pool is not part of the hotel bit is located at the spa that requires additional fee, reservation and a time limit of 2 hrs. Which we find ridiculous if it was advertised as a hotel amenity. Overall hotel was fine but it felt as a total money grab for every normally common amenity

It was a real pleasure to stay at the ô Rouge. All the staff made us and our little baby feel super comfortable and welcome. The place is so beautiful, design and nature collide perfectly. Every morning you wake up by the wineyards, just a few minutes from the village centre, maybe two by car and 5 of walking. Will come back for sure.

I have stayed here over decades. But the only issue I have is the shower temperature never really got hit and the room was chilly most of the time. Staff is super friendly and is very clean and in a great location

Accueil sympathique. Moquette usagée et tachée. Uniquement une seule Bouteille d’eau dans la chambre et machine à café dans le lobby. Dommage. Difficile à trouver… tout au bout de la rue de Lavaux.

Excellent hôtel

Je vais assez régulièrement dans cet hôtel et dois dire que je m’y sens très bien. L’accueil est impeccable, le confort de la chambre excellent et la situation parfaite. Une carte de snack de très bonne qualité est disponible et on peut même profiter d’un spa d’exception. Bravo aux propriétaires pour leur goût et à toute l’équipe pour la gentillesse.

Hôtel sans piscine sans restaurant ne vous faite p

Nous voulions profiter de la piscine ! En ai un cas sur le site il est stipulé qu elle est payante et sur réservation. Impossible d y accéder même en payant une somme exorbitante de 20 € Il ext me tonne non plus mentionné que le restaurant est dans un autre village C est inacceptable , nous voulions profiter du lieu sans prendre notre véhicule ! Impossible à moins de manger des hamburgers dans un food truck !!

Simpel maar prima hotel voor een korte overnachting. Hotel heeft geen lift. Kamer heeft wel kluis maar geen koffie/thee mogelijkheid. Ontbijt was prima, service heel vriendelijk. Mogelijkheid voor eenvoudige hap (burgers, hot dog, friet etc)

Avons choisi cet hotel car à proximité d'un lieu où nous devions assister à une réunion. N'avons pas été déçus. cet hotel propre et confortable situé en plein milieu des vignes est tenu par une personne des plus sympathiques. Nombreux renseignements nous sont donnés sur les restaurants environnants. les petits dejeuners de l'hotel sont fantastiques. excellente halte pour visiter la côte. nous reviendrons probablement.

Delightful gem of a hotel in a wonderful location

A wonderful location, fantastic find for this area. Literally a few minutes walk from the village centre. Good choice of restaurants to suit all tastes. A tip - there is the most beautiful looking restaurant Bistro Lucien but you NEED to book! Which we didn't know - full on a Tuesday night in Sept which tells you something. However we ended up in Chez Guy instead and that was great, delicious food and very pleasant service. Highly recommend this hotel, we would definitely return and will spread the word to friends

Visiting Côte de Nuits

We stayed at les Grand Crus as we planned touring the Côte de Nuits for wine selection. We had driven from Paris and arrived too late for dinner so settled for a bottle of wine which was served to us in the very comfortable lounge. Our room looked out over a neighbouring vineyard. It was very quiet with no traffic noise at all at this time in mid June. The en-suite bathroom was newly remodeled and had a full bath with a shower included but no shower stall. Buffet breakfast was not included in the room price and was served in large modernly decorated room. Along with excellent breads and rolls, there was s good selection of fresh fruit. No cooked items were included. Parking in the large car park was free and had a hard surface which made roller luggage easy to move. Staff were friendly and helpful with information we requested. We would return to stay here as this is very comfortable location to visit the Côte de Nuits
