"Lovely location to get the train to and from. Walking distance to a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The host was lovely and very helpful. You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden! Lovely beach to chill on. "

"We had a deeply disappointing experience at Zen Escape. Despite booking a Family Suite with 2 queen beds, we were given a smaller Deluxe Suite with only 1 bed and an unprepared sofa. Most concerning was discovering someone else’s dirty underwear tucked between the sheets—raising serious hygiene issues. "Near new this boutique hotel is in a prim position just about 12 steps above the main street of fabulous shopping and restaurants"

"The bedside lamp was not working. There are no restaurants in the approximately and they only serve paninis. It has a beautiful view but it is quite the drive to get up there. The credit machine was not working so we had to pay cash. "

"Clean but shower did not drain and backed up into entire bathroom and started to run into room. Called to let them know about problem but not sure they understood drain issue. Cleaned the room up and brought all new towels. But it did it again the next morning when my husband showered. Check out was at 10 am so u could not shower."

"The renovation is beautiful & it's a good location. The free breakfast was great. And we got great service from the receptionists during the say, including a referral to a great tour of the volcano—and a reservation at the private beach club just down the street (where we passed the day between our morning check-out and the late-day shuttle to the airport). "Great location for a trip to eastern Sicily to visit Taormina, Giardini Naxos and even further afield to Etna, Catania and Siracusa without crowds and too much noise. Very easy to find and walking distance to beach, shops, cafes, bakery and restaurants. Would definitely recommend. Kind service and welcoming with access to washer, kitchenette, full bathroom and balcony. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and easy."
