"I stayed here during a conference I attended, so I wasn't in the hotel during the day. But it met all of my needs. The room was nice; the restaurant was delicious; the coffee shop was good. I didn't make use of the other facilities, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

"The front staff and coffee shop staff were very friendly and helpful. However, what tainted our visit was the cleaning staff knocking on the door at 8:15 in the morning ! We had completed 24 hours of travel, arrived at the hotel exhausted, knowing check out time was not until 11-noon. Just having got out of the shower, I opened the door to a lady, who unfortunately could not explain what she was knocking on the door due to the language barrier. She then came into the room to "show me" what she was trying to convey. We had not been given a do not disturb sign, so she went back out to her cart to get us one. Whether or not we had the sign up, WHY were they knocking on the door at that early time...hours before check out ? My son did go speak to the front desk and was explained that the protocol is for the cleaning staff to connect with the front desk first, to see if we had checked out, before knocking to confirm entry was ok. Other than that, beautiful hotel and great shuttle service to and from the airport. Will stay there again."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was wonderful and helped us with all our questions about the hotel, the restaurants attached to the hotel (which we really appreciated) and about the area. The bedroom was abit smaller than some we have stayed in but definitely very comfortable. We appreciated having a little fridge. We were pleased we didn't have to go out to eat with the 3 restaurants attached to the hotel. The staff there were very helpful as well. We originally chose this hotel because it was close to the train station. We were catching a train the next day. But having stayed there, we will certainly book it again when we stay in Vancouver. We would definitely recommend the Moda Hotel, expecially if you want accommodation in that area of the city. "
