"It’s an older property, elevators were slow. The room was big, happy hour was fun, the breakfast was great, and the staff were very nice. They also have a really big lobby and the in house restaurant was good."

"The staff was wonderful but so overburdened. The Marriott CEO’s aim to cut corners is woefully apparent and made the stay more challenging because they were so understaffed. Truly, the personnel were kind and accommodating, especially those at the front desk. They were literally checking people in, answering phones, making coffee, and taking bar orders simultaneously and somehow with a smile! Unfortunately the financial decisions of higher ups have reflected negatively on the entire Marriott experience. For example, our phone did not work nor did our other family members’- that is not the responsibility of one staff member at any given time. The pull out bed was a JOKE- sure, something pulled out but it was hard as a rock and covered in a weird leatherette material that had us sliding around like we had rubber sheets. Part of a larger issue of everything really feeling cheap. Really strange layout to the hotel as well. Please take better care of this wonderful staff!"
