"It’s an adorable old-fashioned motel, quaint, characteristic of decades ago, with wood paneling and tiny windows with pretty shutters and window boxes. We were thrilled to get it last minute, but a word of consideration- room #4 is VERY cozy for two people. Room is freshly made up every day but for some reason the bed didn’t get made our final day there, just an oversight I’m sure. Sweet but basic, perfect for thrifty people with realistic expectations."

"Apgar has a casual, almost campground feel to it that I really loved. The lake and the views were breathtaking. We had plenty of room to sleep all 5 of us—our only issue was 1 bathroom and little space to get ready for the day. There were a couple of days that were rather warm reaching 90 degree temps but mornings and evenings were cool enough that the room was okay for sleeping without AC.
