"Beautiful. Perfectly placed in the centre of wells. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our room (no 2) had a beautiful four poster, a lovely shower (but not really suitable for a larger person) as the door only opened a very small way. The pin opposite did play loud music on the Fri and sat night until gone midnight but it didn’t bother us too much "

"We stayed here for one night and I must say, what a wonderful find this inn was! Set in a lovely village location we were made to feel so very welcome from the moment that we walked through the door. The staff and the service were outstanding and a special mention must go to the amazing Sarah who went above and beyond to make our night so special, apologies for making your shift a bit longer than you expected! But you are an absolute credit to the establishment so thank you again. The room was warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated as was the bar/restaurant area. Some fantastic drinks available to try and the food was absolutely top notch, it was just everything that you could want for a night(or longer) away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Manor House Inn to anyone and we will definitely return again as soon as we can!"

"Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was fine. Just two thingxx as though which need improvement: - Wi-Fi was patchy at best. - Having gone to bed about 11, I couldn’t get to sleep because the bar music was blaring out into the courtyard below my room window and ended up phoning the hotel at11.30 to ask them to turn it off - though to be fair they did do that."

"Never stayed in a hotel before with so many restrictions. Unable to check-in before 3pm, or use any of the leisure facilities until then. Had to pay £50/night for my dog to accompany me when I booked the hotel specifically because it was advertised as dog-friendly. The dinner was poor quality, bread stale, and not worth the price charged."

"Beautifully furnished rooms - clean and fresh with comfortable beds. We received a lovely welcome of scones and tea on arrival - which was very much appreciated after a difficult visit to a care home. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Terry, our host, could not have been more helpful"
