"We checked in on Election Day and none of the TVs in the.building were working. Staff did not seem to understand the urgency. The TVs were still not working the next day when.we left."

"Great location, quiet, clean and friendly staff. Loved the room a little small but very well equipped, comfortable bed and clean. Definitely worth the stay. I read some comments about thin walls but I personally did not have any trouble at all."

"Front desk staff was amazing and helpful"

"Outdated but clean. Staff are always friendly. Breakfast is decent and included. Can’t beat the price when visiting my student at WMU."

"There was six rooms that we reserved. My son and my other son‘s rooms had to be moved when they moved one of my sons. They took him down to a room where a naked man was laying on the bed so then they moved him rooms for a second time we came in Friday night at 12:30 and couldn’t find our key to get in the room stood in the office and rang. The bell called to the point that my husband went behind the desk to realize the gentleman was sleeping, so we went and pounded on the door to wake him up to...

"They are updating the property and what they have done so far is great! Manager is helpful wonderful!"

"Perfect location in Allegan. Room was a great size and the private jacuzzi was a fun touch! Staff were helpful and friendly. Price was great especially for a last minute booking. Would stay here again!"

"Heater wouldn’t stay running. Cold!!"

"I can best describe our one night stay as “fine”. The property is definitely a little dated and has not undergone the full remodel other Fairfield’s have. It’s easily accessible, the staff was courteous and the breakfast was as one would expect but the age of certain things (mattress was shot, showers and bathroom fans were all very loud) would have me looking to stay elsewhere if we stay in Kalamazoo again."

"The desk staff were excellent. They needed more help with breakfast as they couldn't keep things stocked and there was no coffee ready. The TV remote was a nightmare to use, the desk staff had to provide a demonstration and there were several people there at the same time to learn."

"Rates and fees were very confusing. Night to night the rental price fluctuated wildly. Then there were additional fees that added a significant amoubt to a four night stay. When they say tiny cabin they mean it. So just be aware that if you are into "glamping" it might not be for you. Musty/mildew smell from the bath (I think) permeated the space as did the smell from the refrigerator. Not unexpected from a trailer cabin in the woods. Bright spots included WiFi, coffee, tea snd snacks...

"Easy checking. Details of property were explained very clearly. Staff was very polite and helpful. Room Was clean. No maintence issues. Plenty of available parking. Hotel was quiet. Breaks was great."

"great location, easy parking, delicious breakfast"

"The staff were extremely helpful, the food delicious, and the grounds and amenities were first-rate. Like many Victorian-era buildings, this one shows a little wear on the exterior. Other than that, a delightful stay."
