"Hotel was in a lovely setting , inside was well maintained and clean . Room and beds were comfortable.
Only thing which was disappointing was the breakfast, we stayed on a week night and breakfast finished at 9.30 , this is very early , we stay in many hotels on a year and 10am is the normal earliest finish time . Quality of breakfast was disappointing for such a grand hotel , no bread variety , no omelette option , eggs fried we overdone and the scrambled was sloppy and undercooked , inedible ,fruit was nice, staff were missing when things needed topping up . We had stayed at the Hilton double tree the night before, the breakfast there was much better quality which considering it is cheaper we were surprised. Just needs a few upgrades !"
