"So I’m giving this a low rating because I paid a lot for the room and it was filthy when we arrived. Clearly had not been cleaned properly. We also woke up with bites all over us. No bed bugs I checked the bed. I took photos of the dirty room. There was even someone’s shaving hair in the bathroom drawer"

"The housekeepers did a great job and the room was clean and fully stocked. However, the room was very run down and much smaller than advertised. The Expedia description says there is a full kitchen and there absolutely was no full kitchen. It was a place to sleep but not a place to relax or make your own food if you're trying to budget. "Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ...
