"Had a great time at this hotel! The room was amazing and beautiful. We were able to find chairs by the pool anytime we went. It was busy but not over crowded. Walking distance to some fantastic restaurants and the beach the planes fly over. Oh yeah, about the planes. They are loud so pick your room carefully. The planes do stop during the night so you won't have any trouble sleeping. Water at the gym was scarce and the TV quality wasn't great but that didn't matter since we were always out....

"The art displayed through out the hotel is amazing. It is well maintained and there is a nice pool in site. I did not venture the entire hotel to see the rest, but it was well cared for. Staff is super friendly. Any issues you have gets resolved expeditiously. "

"We have been to St Martin 5 times, this being our first stay at Oyster Bay resort. We loved the property and its proximity to Orient Beach and Grand Case. The layout of the resort is great, with a beautiful infinity pool as well as access to the beach. Unfortunately, there was significant sargassum in the water and on the beach which is unusual for this time of year. We did rent a car so were able to visit and enjoy beaches that were not affected. "First time visiting SXM and it did not disappoint! La Vista was beautiful. Our room was on the upper level and we had an amazing view of the bay. We spent our time at the lower pool by the beach. Great sunsets. The location was excellent, we walked most places and took the bus when needed. Highly recommend staying here! "

"Gorgeous beach for walking and relaxing on. The water is so clear and calm. You can float on the water on for hours. Lots of great choices for eating. Beautiful pools especially the infinity ones. Rooms are lovely and super clean. We arrived when the maid was cleaning and there was not one surface that was not thoroughly cleaned. Even the balcony. We will definitely be back next year!!!!!!"
