"April 2026, the Comfort Inn is open but is undergoing full renovations. This was not mentioned when we made our reservations. If you have allergies you, or low tolerance of, construction dust, choose another location. We had a newly renovated room, which was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were polite and efficient, and breakfast at 6am has always been good. We’ve stayed here multiple times over the last 10+ years. Giving full stars because the renovations will end soon."

"We simply wanted a warm room with a clean bed and a shower at a reasonable price, and that's what we got. Our room had a larger refrigerator than most motel rooms, along with a microwave and coffee maker. Our only staff interaction was signing in and out, and that was fine. We were in the area for a dance festival and other motels raised their prices for the weekend, but these folks did not."

"The price was less than other equivalent motels in the area. The room was clean and the shower was hot. Tv,microwave and fridge worked fine. I would stay here again!"

"We had made a reservation at this hotel and the minute we walked in the place smelled musty . The sheets didn’t look clean and mattress pad had dried blood and urine stains on it. We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping and staying in this place. "

"Beds were tolerable, thin walls heard baby’s crying, doors shutting, hollering and conversations…. And too close to the interstate. Loud traffic!! Cute little pool for my children to swim. Loved the washer and dryer rental option. Staff were nice. "

"What a gorgeous property and very pleasant stay! Thank you to the entire team for the immaculate, unique setting. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived, enjoyed the sunrise from the huge windows overlooking the water, and the delicious continental breakfast. The location overlooks a lovely beach and walking path and we enjoyed the serenity and delicious dining in South Portland as well as the convenience to Old Port. We would definitely return and have mentioned the inn to friends. Thanks...

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Im very picky and they made sure my stay was a 10/10. The location couldn’t have been more perfect conveniently situated close to everything I wanted to see and do, yet still peaceful and relaxing. It made getting around incredibly easy and saved me so much...

"The Inn has an “old timey” feel to it. Very quaint. Staff was friendly & accommodating. Our room was clean & comfortable. We liked that it was within walking distance of the beach. Beautiful area!"
