"The breakfast and breakfast attendants were nice."

"I ask 2 weeks before l checked in for my room to be cleaned real good due to my 15 yr old great grandson having alot of allergies. When we checked in there was a medium trashcan under the kitchen sink running over with trash that had smelly fish and shrimp and a half gallon milk carton with sour milk. Plus the refrigerator didn't cool til 2nd day. I had to clean the bathtub. Sofa pillow was ripped open."

"The room was clean but needed a little maintenance. It could use a little updating but nothing major. It was a little odd to see guys tailgating in the parking lot on a weekday. Some garbage was strewn about along the road but it could be from anywhere. Breakfast staff was fantastic-jovial, engaged and enjoyed what she was doing. "We were going for a quick trip of 2 nights. The quality of the hotel is good but it could be great with some attention to detail. The location in Chesapeake was perfect for our plans. The room was very big and the staff was very friendly and helpful, exhibiting all the southern charm you could want. We enjoyed the variety of the foods available for breakfast. "Everyone working and the owner was incredibly friendly. If you aren’t needing a ton of frills but cleanliness and a relaxed atmosphere is important to you, the Bay Inn is certainly the place for you. Walking distance to the beach and the whole place felt incredibly safe and quiet. 💯 would return."
