"The Elkwater Lake Lodge is in a great location and generally speaking, a very nice place to stay. In fact, this was our second stay at the Lodge. However, there does seems to be some wear and tear on the property where upgrades are required. Concrete steps are crumbling away, fenced areas needs paint, the pool is out of use right now, as is the restaurant. The sink in our room was backed up and the toilet didn't flush very well, concerns we raised at the front desk when we left. In fairness,...

"The internet was not working both Friday and Saturday. I had to go to a local coffee shop to work. They also added an extra property charge that was not in the original price paid on Expedia. "
