Location is superb if desiring to stay in Burton in the water. Beautiful, quaint town. Only complaint was lack of cooling. Luckily able to cool off at night with windows open. "We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...

Top Great Tew Hotel Reviews

The Lygon Arms

The Lygon Arms

10/10 Excellent
"Amazing hotel with great food. Gary the porter was superb and clearly loved his job and was very engaging. Bar area was very relaxing although very cold at times. Great location for exploring the area. Only downside was the location of car park 2 especially when it was raining with gale force winds. Definitely would recommend the hotel and will certainly go back to one of the courtyard classic rooms which were very cosy and really good size."
