"I didn’t realise we needed to pay for parking but I probably just missed this. The room was great - good size! The double bed was too firm for me but that’s side sleeper preference. Overall it was positive!"

"We srayed in Rm55, a suite that was freshly decorated and really lovely. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and the breakfast choice was great. We thought the room may be noisy being at the front of the hotel but we had a surprisingly good nights sleep."

"My wife and I recently stayed here (April 28, 2026). The check-in process was quick and easy and the young lady checking me in was helpful and professional. The restaurant and 24-hour bar area near the check-in was filled with construction workers as was their vehicles (I have nothing against construction workers, I am just describing my experience). The downstairs area seemed dark and dingy and in need of a facelift. Upon receiving our room key, we proceeded to the third floor and opened our room. The flooring was vinyl laminate and the room was small. The flooring was extremely sticky as if alcohol or soda had been spilled. The floors had not been mopped or cleaned prior to our arrival. The bathroom door had a strip of black mold running along the bottom and the bathroom floor and shower area all ran together. I opted to leave the window open to try and let fresh air in since the room smelled of mold and was musky. What a mistake that was. I forgot the bar downstairs was open 24-hours. Throughout the night, men were heard arguing, fighting, and vomiting loudly non-stop. Then around 4am, the men decided to see who could bark like a dog the loudest. It sounded like a dog pound outside. My wife asked me why were there dogs fighting outside at 4am and I explained to her it was humans, not dogs. I the United States, we have a hotel chain called motel 6. If you want a cheap room with no amenities and probably not the cleanest, you go to motel 6. This is worse than motel 6."

"There were no disabled parking spots, only reserved ones for electric cars. I booked an executive room (112), and was surprised to note one of the windows looked onto the bin area and recycling, that has lights on most of the night and early morning noise. My bath had mould around the seals, and the bath plug had to be removed with a spoon, which dislodged more mould that floated in the bath. When I mentioned about changing my room before unpacking due to the view, there were no others available, and I mentioned the other comments at check out and nothing was said, just about the meal extras I had ordered and how I wanted to pay. For a 4 star I was disappointed"

"Breakfast was fresh choice of way you like your eggs cooked. Room is what you would expect, so quiet and relaxing.. Owner of the establishment could not do enough for us, so helpful, let us know when the bus times into Carlisle were, and, where local shops were. Definitely stay again "
