"When we arrived the whole apartment smelled of sewer, like there hadn’t been anyone in several weeks. After a few hours of running water intermittently and opening the window we could get the smell out. There was both a dishwasher and a washing machine but nowhere to hang wet clothes to dry. Hanging them on the (turned off) towel dryer in the bathroom made the clothes not dry at all in 2 days as the bathroom was always very, very humid. "The hotel is in two separate buildings located across the street from each other. The building we were in had access only up a steep flight of steps from the street, which was not great for my wife who is partially disabled. Check-in was efficient but not very welcoming, the receptionist seemed quite indifferent. The room was comfortable and characterful, and breakfast was excellent. The location is very good for walking around the historical part of town. The train station is about 10-15 minutes' walk away."
