"Hotel was very good, perfect place and very clean. However, there was no functional air conditioning. The rooms (we were moved) were stiflingly hot. We complained, were moved but A/C was not working. What was most irritating was the apparent dishonesty of the staff. On the day we left, the receptionist admitted they knew they had problems but the staff we spoke to previously played 'ignorant'. To add insult the staff member we spoke to said 'what do you want me to do about it?' Honesty would...

"Beautiful old and historic hotel right in old town square. Directions to the building need to be more concise and parking needs to be explained more carefully since there is none. Great breakfast!!!!!"

"We have had a lovely few days. It is clean and tidy, a lovely room, a beautiful view of the mountains and the host couple are nice and helpful. The breakfast is also fantastic."

"The hotel is central with parking. It has 1960s style sanitary ware which works perfectly well but the bathroom door needs a lick of paint. The hotel is over 3 floors but does not have a lift."

"Die Zimmer waren etwas duster. Gibt nur einen Kofferwagen pro Hotel. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage und wenn man das Fenster offen lässt ist der Wasserfall extrem laut. Mir ist es ein Rätsel, wie man das im Hochsommer dort aushalten soll wenn es draußen 30 Grad und mehr hat."

"Wow, what a wonderful stay. Room 128 (Heavenly Suite) was modern, clean, spacious and beautiful, and despite not having AirCon and the 35 Deg C temperature outside, remained cool. Fabulous views of the Valley, amazing staff, wonderful breakfast, half hour walk to town and 20min walk to the cable car (which was free, thanks to a hotel voucher). We didn’t have time to use the spar/pool. Honestly one of the best hotels stays I’ve ever had."
