Excellent location and a great bargain

Great Zona 1 location within walking distance of everything. Spotlessly clean with attentive and friendly staff. Simple, budget accommodations perfect for single traveler and/or students. A bargain. A bit noisy due to downtown location (not the hotel’s fault) and somewhat uncomfortable nights due to lack of air conditioning. Hey, ya get what ya pay for. Would recommend.

I go to this hotel every week because I go to college and it is much easier for me to stay here than to commute from where I live. There is a restaurant next door, and a small store nearby and you can easily order from the food delivery services too. The hotel is basic, but clean, and while you do need to exercise caution in the areas around the hotel, it is the same as any large city. You can easily get an Uber, or take a taxi as they are always nearby. They do monitor the door, and keep the hotel area safe for the guests. The lobby is clean, neat and the people who work there are friendly. If exploring the city center or the historic area, I would recommend it as a great place to stay! (and definitely affordable too!)

Good property great price

Check in was flawless even though it was a last minute booking. (Within 8 hours of arrival) Older hotel very well maintained. There is no elevator even though the building is 4 stories. Only negative hot water was just available in the early morning hours. Staff was very accommodating. They allowed me to check in far ahead of the 3pm posted time. The adjoining restaurant had very good food, which was extremely economical. Location was good close to the central city.

Pros: - Very nice staff. - Property is very clean and gorgeous - Good location. Walking distance to attractions - Room is clean, nice, and comfortable Cons: - Wifi is not great. Slow and was barely able to connect even close to the front area of the hotel. - hot water barely exists. Its there but only had them for few mins sometimes not at all. - shower drain is not draining properly so it pools a little bit. - breakfast was great, but very small portion. Maybe charge a little more to have proper portion? Although i really liked the value, the property, and staff, i sadly dont recommend this hotel because of the wifi situation.

The staff was mostly friendly and fairly efficient. The rooms, lobby, restaurant were fine. Seems to be a nice hotel right in downtown Guatemala City. Pretty convenient location.

Good rate outstanding service

Room is simple very basic. Two electrical outlets in the room. Plus an additional one in the bathroom. No cooling system, so the drapes need to be drawn to avoid overheating. Property is three stories without an elevator. Staff really accommodating in locating you on a lower floor on request. Staff was very personably and knew me by name. Bed is firm I found it to be reasonably comfortable. This was a second visit and the Capri is my first choice. A nice addition would be a mini fridge. Although I accept that three stars hotels rarely have that amenity. Towels are newer bath sheet size made from cotton. The shower has hot water great pressure.

The staff was very nice and they had clean rooms. Note that ours did not have a mini fridge or microwave. The location was very walkable and we got breakfast and dinner at many different spots. Room got a bit cold at night, as the temperature got down around 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit. They do have private parking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
