This hotel has Old World charm in its furnishings but is updated where it matters. We stayed ‘out of season’. Possibly one of only 3 or 4 rooms occupied at the time. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. I can imagine an amazing place to be in busier times and in better weather. The drive to the property was a little difficult with very poor road access.

We loved staying in Agriturismo Marano, and plan to stay again. Great rural location with views, and the unit was set up with everything we could need. Tiziana is a warm and welcoming hostess.

There is a lot of walking involved, but this is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Italy. There is local free parking near the Roman Theatre, but it is quite a walk into town from there. The streets can be very narrow for driving.
