Took a ferry to Herm
This is a busy part of St.Peter Port, but other parts of the town had a better ambience.
We visited on the same day as passengers from two cruise ships. It was extremely busy on the harbour front and made it chaotic, difficult to relax or look around. Apparently there was up to 7,000 people between the two ships. It would be best to check before going if a cruise liner was expected.
The Bootman, lovely restaurant
Excellent bus service from by Harbour to whole island.
Great market every other Sunday on the harbour front
