"Beautiful hotel with shops nearby. I appreciated their elevator since we had a lot of luggages. Room was clean. Working AC. Their bakery was delicious and affordable. Their included breakfast was also delicious."

"Amazing history, everywhere you walk. Smelt good despite everything being old so appreciated! Not really established as a hotel though more a monastery maybe. Place was cold. Had to ask for fireplace to be made up. No heating anywhere else in the hotel. No ambiance, dead quiet everywhere. One friendly receptionist / manager, everyone else seemed impossible to get hold of. "I arrived at the hotel and the staff could not find my reservation. The staff also claimed hotel does not accept pre-paid reservations as a matter of policy and hence I would have to pay them in cash as they also did not have any way to receive payment by credit card. Since I had insufficient cash on me anyway, I refused to pay twice for what was already way overpriced accommodations in Latacunga, Ecuador. "
