"I loved this hotel. After an initial small mixup about the shuttle from the train station, the lovely staff could not have been more accommodating. They were extremely gracious and welcoming. The hotel was in a perfect location to walk to the main sights, restaurants and shopping streets. I had a tiny balcony which was perfect for a late afternoon break. The room was very clean and I appreciated the kettle and coffee and tea facilities. Breakfast was very nice and the shuttle back to the train station was excellent. I wish I could have stayed longer. "

"Beautiful and comfortable old country house with lovely garden in an area with amazing scenery. Lovely views of the lake and close to a cute village. Restaurants and cafes closed until Easter in small villages. Great area for hiking in the summer. Owner excellent communicator. Good continental breakfast. Highly recommend. Many thanks"

"What a delightful small hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The location is beautiful, and the hotel itself is a rather luxurious boutique property with a Michelin-starred restaurant on-site. It’s perfect for hikers and for those seeking peace and relaxation. Just keep in mind — this isn’t a beach resort: no palm trees, no sandy shores, and probably not the best spot if you're hoping to tan all day."
