"We had a 2 bed villa with lounge pool and beach view. Lots of space and complimentary water and coke. The staff were fantastic and service excellent. We had occasion to contact reception and had someone to our room immediately. It was a little way out but taxis are easily available and good value. The breakfast was lovely though coffee slow in delivery. The restaurant was fabulous- beautiful setting and atmosphere- but not cheap. We would go back to this hotel."

The environment is peaceful.
The infinity pool and the beach are great to enjoy.

"Excellent resort located right on the main beach, the place was super clean, the team were super friendly and very accomodating. We stayed in the cottages, the older part of the resort, close to the private beach, the rooms there were in good condition and very comfortable. "
"The Kala Samui is absolutely a wonderful place for a retreat in Koh Samui. Located on Chaweng Noi Beach, it is separated from the hustle streets of Chaweng Town which will bring you into serenity and relaxation, though the hotel provides shuttle bus service to bring you to Chaweng town once per day.
The hotel is situated on a rock hill among the greenery with a fascinating common infinity swimming pool facing to the ocean. In my opinion, Kala might not be really suitable for elderly or small...
"We had a beautiful stay! The staff and facilities were fantastic and the location is great, a quieter, lovely part of the beach but only a short walk to all the action in Chaweng. We also went on a snorkeling tour organised through the hotel which was brilliant. "
"Et dejligt sted. Personalet er helt fantastisk, så hjælpsomme og søde. Morgenmaden er fremragende med mange muligheder både varme og kolde. Området er velholdt og hyggeligt. Poolen fin og stranden dejlig. Ingen andre end nogen tyskere spærrede liggestole, hvilket ikke er tilladt. Vi spiste lækker thai og bbq buffé. Massagen er dejlig og i lækre omgivelser - men meget dyr i forhold til “på gaden”. Den eneste lille beklagelse er at vores værelser var en lille smule slidt - dog ikke noget der betød...
"We had an amazing stay at the Melati! It’s slightly tucked away but close to night life and markets etc which was perfect for us. It’s situated on a lovely small bay with one other bar/restaurant so away from the crowds of some of the other beaches. Staff were amazing at the Melati, friendly and welcoming the whole time, breakfast was also too good!!!! We would definitely come again if we returned to Koh Samui."
