"Everything exceeded our expectations, well, except for the pillows which were so soft they were almost non-existent! The hotel was grand but somehow cosy, spotlessly clean and well-maintained and the facilities were great. The pool was bigger than it looked in the photos although the slide was more of a shuffle! Games room had a table tennis table, a pool table and an arcade machine. There was a dart board and darts but the flights were too damaged to play with. The grounds were lovely to walk in, especially because we were lucky enough to be there when it snowed. Best of all were the staff who, without exception, were exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, helpful and went above and beyond. We'll definitely be staying there again."

The team at the pub were brilliant, they were shutting the kitchen early as it was a quiet January Sunday (so totally understandable) but we managed to get an order in and the food was great. "
