"The owner was super helpful with insider tips for the area. She shared a bunch of places to see and things to do.
Really close to the canyon and nice area."
"It was not at all what we thought it was from the pictures, but it was one of the most quiet places I've ever stayed. Peaceful! It offers incredible proximity to Blue Mesa. The staff was some of the nicest I ever come across and very helpful. Overall, I'd definitely stay again in the future."

I love Gunnison. Great place to stay if you're looking to save a buck when visiting CB or Lake City. Food options are plentiful. The Dive was a great American eatery and Patcheree's had some of the best Thai I've ever eaten!

The downtown Gunnison area, a short one-mile drive, hosts many restaurants, art galleries, gift shops, and clothing stores, and there is no shortage of activities.

Gunnison is a beautiful sleepy town. Interesting stores, and wonderful places to eat. Friendly people and very safe and clean. But the beauty is the reason to go visit. Worth the drive!!

A good place to go for those interested in outdoor recreation. The winters are on the lengthy side, so fair-weather folks may want to visit during summer.

Apparently Gunni is best in summer and fall. Not very pretty in winter, and Crested Butte is about the only thing to do in winter.
