"Great hotel, very clean room, great shower, the pool is excellent for relaxing. Laundry done over night and ready for you in the morning, just ask at reception. We'll stay there again next year. "
"I did not think much of this hotel when I booked it but was I surprised when arrived. The hotel staff was extremely professional and courteous. The hotel is very luxurious, from the lobby to the restaurant and the room. The bed and shower room/toilet were top notch, comparable to big name hotels like Sofitel and Sheraton. I’d give this hotel more than 5-Star rating if I could."
"We had the most wonderful stay at Anans home. It was the perfect stay after 4 days on the loop. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had lovely amenities - especially the shampoo and body wash which they make. We had a delicious dinner on the property and enjoyed using the games/cards available. Breakfast was equally delicious. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with arranging a car service for us back to Hanoi. Could not recommend Anans home enough, wish we could stay longer! "
"Pool was under maintenance so was closed.
Restaurant food was ok. However, if you eat as a couple, dont expect both main courses to arrive at the same time! My partner's main course arrived after I had finished eating mines!!
Breakfast was ok. Same same. Nothing spectacular. There's the fried rice, fried noodles, and your typical Western style od sausages, bacon, pastries."
"Room was very good overal #1005, but if being very very picky. There was little metal thing on floor looked like a vacuum part or something. The vacuum missed a little bit of stuff in one spot. The entire room wasn't wiped down from top to bottom. Otherwise the room was very good. There no instructions for using climate control in the room. Someone in there infinite wisdom put it between the beds at night table level without a tilt screen instead of eye level. Our country does not typically use this type of controller. I don't think they could have made it more difficult to use if they tried. In fairness a guy came right up when i complained and got the heat on. It would be nice if they asked temperature prefferrence when booking and precondition the room as some units take so long to repond. Also the phone had no instructions or information on how they billed with it. I did not even know how to call the front desk. Attention to detail goes along way in my books. The place was what you expect but lacked the extra touches to be great. You get the idea they are relying on the pretty, smiling reception selling the place not a cohesive effort to be great."
"Wasn't aware that the hostel locks its doors after hours (my fault), but then also want contacted when we didn't check in. End result was being locked out on the streets after our bus dropped us off. "
"The bungalow is great but the staff is absolutely terrible.
> Check-in
We could not find the staff at the reception. She was sleeping not far from the reception. We called the number on the desk but she declined the call. We sent a message to say we were at the reception. She liked it but did not reply. We had to assume the receptionist was the person sleeping not far from the reception once we saw her.
> Motorbike rental
Don't go there if you want to travel alone - They are not flexible and refuse half day rent or to give you a motorbike early in the morning so that you can avoid the police bribe at the exit of the city. We were forced to leave with a group at 9am before paying the bribe and then breaking from the group
> Food
The kitchen is said to close at 8:30 but it was actually closed at 8:15. The staff was still there but we were declined to order food because the staff already cleaned the kitchen. They offered a frozen pizza if we wanted.
> Charge
We were charge an extra night despite paying everything before check-in on hotel.com. They refund us but it has been complicated....
> Motorbike quality
We had a puncture and had to change the back wheel brake when noticing it was really close to obsolescense. Very dangerous to get their motorbike if you travel without one of their group. "
