"The hotel is very noisy, children running all around the lobby area with no supervision. Balcony has no patio set chairs and table to put coffee and drinks. Property and staff provide excellent service to me but there should be supervision on level of noise in the lobby area."

"The resort was formally Premier which is good to know, as most drivers can’t find it. It has changed hands after covid and some of the buildings need to be bought up to new code so a lot of vacancies The staff and facilities are fantastic, especially for families The food was good too"

Before I booked I researched for many hours on the various cruise package environmental impact policies. Scarlett pearl have a waste management system and appear to be actively trying to reduce the negative impact on the area.

An incredible place to have visited. We actually extended our stay in ha Long Bay as we loved the tranquility of it after Hannoi. Definitely do the cruise, we just did a 6 hour day one which was a real highlight of our travelling experiences ever.

Better to do a cruise with transfer from Hanoi than stay in Ha Long City as it is quite touristy and often not close to harbour for cruises of the bay.
