The hotel is located on a quiet side street, so there was no bothersome traffic noise—plus it’s located near a bus stop, which made it simple to get to. "The property was very clean and allowed us in our room early. The only thing I was missing was a fan in the room. There wasn’t a lot of circulation in the room and having to keep curtains closed due to sunlight, it would become hot in room. A small fan would help this. Overall, the room is very nice and right along the bus line to catch into town. Very convenient for traveling."

"The Kildonan Lodge worked out well for our stay in Edinburgh. It's approximately 15 minutes from the City Centre. We used the local bus system to get back and forth and there is a stop wthin a few steps of the hotel. Parking is hard to find and is expensive in the City Centre. Our room was on the lower level, so we did not hear too much traffic noise. The room was clean and it did have a couple of USB ports for us to charge our phones (Canadian) so we did not have to use our converter. ...
