"Place was so convenient. The manager stopped by our room with 3 cold waters shortly after arrival which was really appreciated. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools and while we stayed in a pet friendly 2 queen room, there was no evidence of odor of other dogs. Room was a nice size. Overall I think great value. "

"I would like to say thank you to Patty for making our check in process better than we ever had. We felt immediately welcomed , she was very sweet and kind after we had an AWFUL experience at a hotel across the street. We were instantly relieved ! "Spacious room with a very comfortable king sized bed. Best bed we have had at any of the places we've been. Clean room, we did request a change of towels earlier than they would have provided them. Tiny fridge but we didn't need it for much anyway.
Decent Continental breakfast selections. Scrambled or fried eggs, bacon or sausage patties, home fries, waffles, cereals, yogurts, bagels, toast, juices, teas, coffees, etc. Acceptable standard fare.

"The room had a little kitchen, new bath and a full size grill and little deck attached. I wasn't super thrilled with the fact that it was like a driveway where our deck was and people across the way had a boombox speaker going. Lots of kids running around, basketballs and ping pong balls hitting the cars. We were able to cook a nice meal. It would be great for a family. There was one queen size bed and two twin beds in a separate room. The living room was fairly rudimentary, no coffee table....
"Loved staying here 2nd year staying. So clean and comfortable beds. Pool area always clean as well as the lake. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Staff were always smiling and always made sure we were comfortable and happy. Will be coming here again :) "

"While we didn't stay in the hotel room most of the time, I always look at how dirty or old the carpet, furniture, paint, and bathrooms are. The floor of the tub was chipping, but otherwise no problems! I would definitely stay here again. The staff was so friendly, even just a passing, "Have a great day!""
"We loved everything about this property! The kids loved the lake and the pool, it was convenient to walk to stores. The rooms were really nice, except we had problems with multiple bugs in our room, i dont even know what kind of bugs they were. 2 different types, one was a millipede looking bug. We had to kill a good amount but other than that we would definitely come back!"
"Scotty's is a fantastic family spot. Everything you need is there; beach, pool, couches to relax, and beach games. At night they have movies on the beach and camp fires. We love the vibe and plan on returning yearly. "

"Our stay at this hotel was pleasant. It’s well-located and easy to get in and out. There is a Starbucks at the entrance of the parking lot. It is a clean hotel, it needs a little remodeling, but it’s a clean hotel. The breakfast they offer has a good variety to choose from both hot and cold….."
