"Food was excellent, breakfast plentiful and tasty, evening meals were very good. Bathroom we were in was a little cramped and the floor tiles were cracked and broken. Overall the whole stay was very pleasant , the staff were very friendly without being overly so. Would definitely go back if we were in the area."

"I was in Halifax for a work trip and stayed here while a colleague stayed at a different hotel which was about the same price. "Wonderful, warm welcome. Room very comfortable. Few tweaks needed - drawers not easily accessible, hanging space a bit high. Wonderful shower - walk-in, such a treat as most hotels have showers inaccessible to anyone with any mobility issues. Surprisingly quiet even though on main road. Great for a couple of nights"
