"We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. The cooking area was nicely done so that you could cook breakfast easily. The property is gorgeous and you really feel like you're in the middle of the rainforest by yourself. Very relaxing. We ate in the restaurant on site (you need to let them know you're coming) and the meals were fantastic. The owner is great and wants to be sure everything is acceptable. A great...

"Excellent stay: rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, shower was awesome and surrounding views are beautiful. Great restaurants in town as well as small grocery store and ATM. Property manager was polite, courteous and helpful (he met us at the property). He had the hottub waiting for us nice and hot!"

"Awesome suits by River. A great place to explore “adventure” Island. Host went the extra mile, answered all our questions and helped us get familiar with area. Great beach walking distance. "

"Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. "Very nice apartment and well taken care of. Pride in ownership. Amazing sunset view from our balcony. Plenty of room for 2 people. The balcony is amazing. Not many restaurant choices but we did manage. Ellie was helpful with a couple suggestions. Mero Beach js very nice black sand and the water is very clear and fairly warm. Highly recommend. "
