"Room was not cleaned, there was spider cobwebs under TV unit, bathroom. Floor was dirty with dirt and gum was stuck on the floor under the bed. Lizard was there in the bathroom. Other than that there was no issue. "

"Due to heavy bookings for UTA event we stayed in a twin room the first night booked direct with motel it was OK for 2 adults 1 teen but we found the second night much better, same sort of facilities but just extra space (this Expedia booking). Rooms were right next to each other but we had to check out 10am check back in at 2pm. The owner was encouraging us to stay in the smaller room but not willing to reduce the cost to cover price difference (approx $60) so we went with our original...

"Clean, comfortable and central motel. We were attending a Wedding close by and needed a place to stay for 1 night. It was clean, the bathroom was spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. A added bonus was it was quiet and close by to the main strip of shops."

"The room and facilities were good though the bathroom has a window grill open to outside so was freezing cold at night, to cold to stay in for a shower etc. We ate at the restaurant, the steak was amazing, perfectly cooked but and they didn't deliver to the table any of the sides we had ordered so we had steaks, no potatos, no veggies, and some how we were charged $29 for what we are pretty sure was a $17 glass of wine. "Special check-in details not completely accurate: check in times can vary but late arrivals can be accommodated with prior arrangement. Parking is close to room but very tight so please be considerate if you are not the one parking next to the wall. Studio room large and well appointed, with offset kitchenette where I could read in the middle of the night. We walked to the waterfall and back in 90 minutes, although lookouts were much closer."

"Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel."

"We have been going here for many years always have felt comfortable and looked after. the 1st room we had was a bit shabby seemed to be in the young families area. the floor of the bathroom needed a lot of deep cleaning. the lounge was worn out and needed replacing. We were moved to another room because I found the shower in the bath hard to get up to. the staff were fantastic at helping this happen.
