"Great accommodations at Cabanas Te Māori! Patricia (Patty) helped me get situated with tours and other recommendations, as well as greeting me at the airport on arrival (and also getting me back to the airport when it was time to depart)! This helped ensure a very memorable and relaxing trip to Rapa Nui!"

"Beautiful hotel in Rapa Nui with all amenities, wonderful staff, beautiful landscapes, delicious meals with in-house chef. The hotel makes arrangements for tours, transfers to/from airport and anything else you can think of. It was superb, and no other hotels in the area are as nice as this one- Would be back in a second-"

"The property was immaculate - the floors literally shone with cleanliness. Our room was beautiful with a great view. The breakfast buffet was huge and delicious. We were greeted at the airport with leis by the hotel staff & island music from a local band. Hotel Teanehi was a great choice!"

"This place was really incredible. I'm now back in Canada wishing I was at Tahai Loft. It was clean, much bigger than I thought and a great location for the sunset and seeing a Moai. The ladies were fantastic at communication and I would send a "Whats app" for things like taxi numbers or tour questions and they would give me a very quick response. If I'm ever lucky enough to go back to Rapa Nui (Easter Island) I will definitely be staying at Tahai Loft."

"Hotel Taha Tai is right on the beach in Hanga Roa Rapa Nui and an easy walk to the town centre and harbour. Carlos and all the staff are very helpful and the beachfront restaurant for breakfast was a highlight"

"We enjoyed our week at Kona Koa Lodge. We were able to make some meals in our bungalow. The owners were very helpful with everything we needed. The property looks like a tropical paradise. May 2026."

"This was more like staying with an aunt and uncle than a hotel. They invited me to share meals and encouraged me to use the kitchen and family room. You can’t be in a USA hotel frame of mind, but if you can leave that behind, you will enjoy your stay here!"

"There is only 1 sign to the hotel down a dirt track so difficult to find.no reception, so noone to talk to, had to send a message via Expedia about check out, but it wasn't answered. Breakfast was poor sadly same everyday , it is described as a hotel but not sure it should be. The shower was cold when it worked. So sadly not the best reveiw and I am sorry 😞"

"Maria was a great host from picking up from the airport thru to dropping off again.
The Cabanas are a little way out of town but solved by renting a car thru them once we had checked in."

"I had an enjoyable stay overall and found the property comfortable and convenient.
However, I did encounter several roaches in and around the bathroom, which was concerning. I contacted the owner before writing my review to give them an opportunity to address the issue, and I explained that I had already kept all windows closed, covered the drains, left the light on, and kept the bathroom door closed. Unfortunately, rather than acknowledging the concern, the response implied that the insects could have been prevented simply by keeping everything closed, despite my having already taken those precautions. I was disappointed by that response, as I was making a genuine effort to be considerate and resolve the issue privately. I otherwise enjoyed my stay and hope the owner addresses the pest issue for future guests."

"The amenities are excellent, and they even have a drinking water tank, showing consideration for the environment. The staff are polite and, above all, kind."
"The hotel is lovely. Set in beautiful gardens. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was the best we had had on our 4 week Brazil Argentina Chile and Easter Island. Wolfgang is friendly and kind. He makes sure to speak to everyone personally ally at breakfast. He is a mine of information about the island. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s perfect. X"
"Our stay at Cabanas Te Maori was absolutely exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip to Easter Island.
From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Patricia was simply amazing—kind, welcoming, and always ready to help us with everything we needed. Her attention, recommendations, and assistance made our stay truly special.
The location is wonderful, the room was comfortable and perfect for relaxing after exploring the island, and the tours were excellently organized. Thanks to Patricia, we were able to enjoy Easter Island in the best possible way and discover its incredible beauty.
The hospitality, the atmosphere, and the care we received made this a truly magical experience. Easter Island is already a unique place, but staying at Cabanas Te Maori made it even more unforgettable.
Thank you Patricia for making our stay so special. Everything was perfect, and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting this incredible island!"
