"Our stay at Hotel Tauraa on Easter Island was truly exceptional and unforgettable. From the very first moment, the owner/manager Wolfgang made us feel incredibly welcome. He personally greeted us, which already set the tone for the entire stay. His hospitality went far beyond expectations—he even helped us resolve and rebook our tickets, which could have easily become stressful without his support. What really stood out was the level of personal care. Every morning, Wolfgang would bring us fresh apples—such a simple gesture, yet it made us feel genuinely cared for. It’s these small, thoughtful touches that make this place so special. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing. Not just standard hotel food—each morning was a unique, custom-prepared experience. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with attention and pride. This is not just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel like a valued guest, not just a booking.
