The west is located in the perfect spot. During the weekend you walk out in to the street market. The staff were excellent and breakfast was great. The rooms were well kept and clean. It was always nice to come into a clean cool room after being out in the city heat and humidity

Overall our experience at The West Hotel in Hanoi was great! It was easy to check in, there was an elevator to get to the room and the room was spacious enough for our 2 big luggage plus carry-on bags. The room was as expected for an independent hotel in the Old Quarter and we appreciate the bedding and towels were clean and fresh. All staff could speak English which was helpful when we asked for recommendations on tours and eateries.
