"The little breakfast was great! Took it for the road which was convenient. The bed was a little low and soft for our comfort level but nothing you can do about that. Coffee was great, the view was amazing!!! Great lake view from our room which was the fletcher. I had coffee outside on the Muskoka chairs."

"This is a great place to stay if you're on a budget. The King's College campus is beautiful. The student staff are always warm and helpful. It's not a luxury hotel, it's a student dorm with shared bathroom facilities. But it's fine and it's cheap and it offers everything I need so it's where I stay whenever I go to Halifax."

"Breakfast was fresh Staff were friendly, Stinky halls. We Left baskets of clothing behind and staff denied seeing it.. liars and thieves. Pet friendly yet staff scared of cats. A big deal was made every time they had to clean our suits. "

"Nice small resort-like inn 11 km from airport and near Dartmouth/Halifax. Room are more rustic looking, but decent quality. Many rooms with a balcony. Hotel is situated on a lake, including small beach and a pool. Good restaurant on site. Also grocery store, gas, fast food 5 minute drive. Only disappointment is the room has a small fridge, but does not work. Fre parking on site."

"As soon as I walk in, I realize I can eat off this floor right now. That's how clean this place is. And I was like, d*** this place. This place smells so good. Holy man, look how bougie this place is man. All the lights have dimmer switches. The view is amazing Love the hot tub, but the black flies were brutal. They'll get you.\n But had a wonderful stay and will be back. The black won't bother you after Like 9 or 10 o'clock. And iwas like damn look at the shower head that's crazy."

"We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)"

"The location is awesome. The staff is awesome. We really enjoyed the restaurant and they had a good variety of foods. It was somewhat loud with people turning on showers, but I am a very light sleeper. Overall, I would highly recommend the Alt!"

"The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Excellent customer service. The included breakfast was excellent with full standard breakfast or omelettes or eggs Benny. Unfortunately there was a sewer line blockage that affected the toilets so that was inconvenient, the pillows were huge and the mattresses were quite soft but I would still stay here again for the value."
