"Stayed here recently and overall it was an average experience. The location was a big plus; being close to downtown Pittsburgh made it really convenient to get around. The room itself was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the electronic fireplace was a nice touch that kept the room warm and cozy. Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue. "I read the reviews before booking but my experience was not like others. The staff when I checked in was very helpful and and friendly. When we got in our room there was no soap or towels. Room table nd phone was dirty. Television would not shut off when I called front desk new staff was there and told me I’d need to wait til next day. We had to sleep with the television on. "I love this hotel! I've stayed two years in a row after the Pittsburgh Marathon, and everyone is always so friendly and polite. Hotel is super clean, updated, pool and hot tub are in great shape, and the breakfast is great as well! I enjoyed my stay here far more than the (MUCH more expensive) ones I spent downtown the night before the race!"

"I will start by saying that property is bit far from the downtown area I had my business, but I am glad I chose this hotel. It is quiet, clean, comfortable (mattress could be better, but wasn’t too bad - a good night sleep is paramount in a hotel). The breakfast was fresh, hot but standard. A few things were missing - hot oats did not have standard condiments like almonds, raisin and brown sugar. But overall, staff is friendly. I will go there again, if I am in Pittsburgh. "The room and kitchenette were perfect. The beds were comfortable and the pillows The right consistency. The staff that I dealt was amazing. Nigel checked me in and assisted with the very minute issues that arose swiftly and with a smile and kind words. His work was top tier. Josh checked me out and he was also a very pleasant and well mannered person. Due to these to people my family has decided that any time we visit the area again. This will be our hotel of choice."
