This was a clean, reasonably priced hotel. The breakfast was a full breakfast, and the staff kept it constantly refreshed. No serious concerns… the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and had what we needed. What I wasn’t a big fan of was the TV and remote, they didn’t work very well and lots of the channels loaded slowly and didn’t come in clearly- they were pixel-y. And – just my personal preference – the bathroom had bars of soap instead of shower gel/liquid soap for the shower. Overall, it was fine, and I would stay there again.

I prepaid a room through Expedia, and when I checked in the front desk staff ask for my credit card for incidental charges. She, who did not have any clue how to process my credit card, charged me for the same room again. After 20 minutes waiting, still, she couldn’t do it. At the time of checking out, I mentioned to the manager at the front desk and he said that “ this is an internal transaction and you wouldn’t be charged again.” It was charged twice. I called Wyndham they they couldn’t do anything about it. I called hotel several time nobody answer the phone! I is a mess! I will not consider Wingate hotels for my future trips again!!

Property needs updating. Hallway wallpaper is peeling and carpet is well worn. Furniture in room was outdated and wallpaper dirty. However, bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice. AC did not cool room to desired temp overnight (room was hot when I got there and took all night to drop to 70). Just needed a place to sleep for the night, so it was OK for the price.
