"We were able to check into the room early so that was nice. The view was nice. There was no remote for the AC unit (suite 2) the fireplace would fall right out. The smoke detector went off in our room, I think because another suite set their smoke detector off. I messaged the staff via Expedia app and also texted the resort directly when I required assistance. No response at all so that was very disappointing. Thus resort had no front office, no lobby or restaurant so next time we will stay...

"Unfortunately it was my first experience in this hotel but I got good deal from Expedia but they gave me a very bad room no balcony. Inside is too hot. I requested to change my room for these problems but they didn’t do that and they told me heritage building have air conditioner problem. Secondly, we requested rope shower towel but they didn’t give us more so we have to use wet towels. I’m not satisfied about my staying in this hotel. I hope they see my message then solve their customer service...

"We were in the newly renovated room facing the lake. It was awesome! I quickly regretted booking for just 1 night. It has a $150 deposit and $15 parking fee per night."

"A large modern room, a mini-apartment with a kitchen, really. The only downsides are: 1) cars in the parking lot starting early in the morning and waking you up, some voices heard from the adjacent room (better sound insulation would be good), and lack of a non-slip mat in the shower, which has a very slippery floor."
