This bed and breakfast is in a rural area and the country is beautiful. It fits right in with its log cabin base. Although it is actually made with part of a log cabin, it has been added to and remodeled with all the modern amenities. The decor is very light and airy and there are plenty of windows. It is beautifully done and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. I only wish we could have stayed there longer.

Absolute must stay!

My son and I stayed for one night while visiting the area for a JMU Baseball camp. The accommodations were incredible and the hosts absolutely fabulous. This is a top-notch Bed and Breakfast, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Perfect Getaway

Our stay at Silver Lake was perfect. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful views, and convenient to Harrisonburg for evening meals. We could have stayed an extra day just to sit on the porch with a glass of wine and a book. Morning coffee on the porch was the perfect start to the day.
