"Dirty and horrible"

"Staff were very pleasant, friendly and exceptionally helpful. The decor in the room was beautiful and it was very clean with plenty of tea making facilities including ‘proper’ mugs and a teapot with tea cosy which was a lovely extra. However the room was very, very small and it did not have any drawers or wardrobe to store clothes (there was a small rail in the corner with four hangers to hang a few items). The en-suite was also very small but it was supplied with lovely White Company...

"Such a beautiful location, parking convenient, delicious food. Wifi was spotty at times but generally worked. If you’re looking for a spot in North Yorkshire this is definitely a place to consider!"

"The hotel was on the main street with shops and pubs all in walking distance. We were able to eat and drink at the Red Dragon. The only drawback was no on site parking so the car had to be left about 10 minutes walk away. This was the only issue the rest was great."

"Lovely room, liked the extra touch of fresh milk for tea and coffee in the fridge outside the room for everyone. Lovely food small portions, but everything was good. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good, would stay again"

The staff at the Gamekeepers are incredible proud of their establishment, they were always kind courteous and helpful. Special compliments for Dan, he was always helpful communitive and friendly.
