"I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Camrose LeChateau Hotel. The rooms have been nicely updated, and I especially appreciated that there was no carpet. The room also had a microwave and a decent-sized mini fridge, which made the stay much more convenient.
The mattress was comfortable, and overall the room was clean, modern, and far better than I expected for the price. It felt like excellent value for the money.
One of the highlights was definitely Ghost, the hotel’s reception mascot kitty. He’s a super chill cat who hangs out in the reception area and adds a unique, welcoming touch to the hotel experience.
If you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable place to stay in Camrose, I would happily recommend it."
"I have only positive remarks to make about our stay at the CanAlta. From the moment we arrived to friendly front staff, to the beautiful room we stayed in (305), to the pristine condition of the pool and hot tub room, to the generous full breakfast, and to the smiling staff we encountered, our stay couldn't have been better. We will definitely return when next in Camrose. One staff member who stands out in particular is the breakfast room (and seemingly more) person. She is both efficient and conversational, and a boon to the hotel (I didn't catch her name but do know she loves cats!). A last note is about the location of the hotel. Camrose is small so it takes no time to get anywhere, but the hotel situated on the outskirts of town offers spectacular views of the open fields and offers lots of free parking. 5/5* for sure!"
"Terrible. Stay somewhere else. Mould in the bathroom, dirty, broken door, unmaintained, noisy long term tenants on both sides of my room - 1 selling stolen stuff and the other yelling and swearing all night, random cats wandering around, no smoke detector, broken electrical outlet, lamp didnt work, bathroom faucet had constant water running from the base of the tap, air conditioner rigged to stay in place with plastic and screws which rattle loudly. Asked where the ice machine was and was offered an ice cube tray so I could make ice in the mini fridge freezer. Come on...time to tear the place down."
"Friendly helpful staff
Room had all amenities altho phone connections old fashioned.
Pool was lots of fun
Comp breakfast as well maintained and lots of variety
Temp was good"
"Very unclean. Dirty sheets, smoke detector low battery and beeped the entire stay. Staff spoke Chinese and my check in was in Chinese using a translator on the phone. Staff also told me they needed my credit card because I didn’t pay. Showed them receipts and everything and after 30 minutes they finally let me go. Found some bugs in the shower too. Not a good stay. Will never go again"
