"Disappointing check-in experience Unfortunately, my experience with this property was very disappointing, particularly the check-in process. Before arrival, I was asked by the property owner to make an additional payment directly to a bank account. I was uncomfortable with this method of payment as it was outside the normal booking process and did not provide the same level of protection or reassurance as paying through the booking platform. "Driftwood cottage is a pretty cottage, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners are really helpful and ensured we had a perfect few days there."

"I like everything with the house"

"The self catering flat was clean, well equipped particularly in the kitchen and living room with fans, jigsaws and dvds galore. There were even binoculars to better appreciate the sea views. "

"Expedia confirmed my booking and took payment. Around two hours later, the host cancelled because of “an error with the calendar” — for a stay that was due the very next day. That alone was bad enough, but the refund process made it worse. It took two days and three phone calls to Expedia to chase a proper refund, after the first refund shown was only partial. "We were in skegness a little earlier, but it was a bit rainy day . Aramide let as ceck in bit earlier then schedule, as the flat was ready and she didn't want us to hang around in the rain. Thank you Aramide for that. Olso the flat was clean and confortable, I can't fault any part of the experience. Raccomend any time."

"Property was ok to sleep in few down points regarding bathroom cleaning and no toaster in kitchen Property may look into getting few more bits into kitchen for cooking facilities no frying pans there could do with few clothes hooks for coats too"

"It was the cheapest option available on Expedia. Location was absolutely perfect. All the main shops were 7-10 minutes walk from my apartment. Beach was on 8 min walk. Room was reasonably clean. No problem with checking in. Nice quiet spot for rest after the full day of excitement. Can’t complain about anything for the price I paid. With little bit of TLC the owner can get double the amount of money."
