"We spent one night here prior to our yacht rental began and wished we hadn’t. The room was very basic and frankly nasty. Sugar ants everywhere, crappy towels, restaurant on the dock overpriced and very average as far as the food. At $355 per night we expected better. "

"The manager Ashur was most helpful and responsive. They responded to minor issues promptly. We loved the large space and stunning view. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. Would highly recommend. One suggestion - add a sofa bed for additional guests. Note: there is a single hideaway bed. "

It's a small island with everything; beach, spa, water sports, boutique, bar with DJ, restaurant, marina, plus a water taxi that takes you to all the other restaurants near by. The staff is friendly and very professional. The rooms are a 5 star level. Highly recommended!"

"Clean room, amazing pool and onsite restaurant. My only complaint was the beach towels . They need a towel stand . The rooms could use new towels also. We stayed there for 4 nights and each day the towels were better than the day before. "

"This hotel is a hidden gem! The lady at the front desk was a jewel! I called her 3x before we even arrived to ask her questions about early checkin and leaving our bags with her before we could checkin. She was so pleasant and helpful. "Sugar Mill was beyond my expectations. They have the friendliest staff and fantastic food. We were two couples who rented two King size bedrooms with ocean views. Some notable staff were Jean our dinner waitress. She was so lovely and helpful with her suggestions, Destiny, and Estephany were pleasant as well. At the beach bar Carlos our bartender was the man!! "Truly a 5 star resort! Having a butler was a unique experience as was the having no room keys (that’s another first for me). We had some rain on our trip so a few more rainy day options would be a good addition. Loved that all water toys were included, find a kayak, pool noodle, stand up paddle board, you could use it.
